Desire More In Our Relationship With God

What kind of relationship should we have with Christ?

One that is filled with His love and His peace.

Today’s Song Sunday is, “Holy Spirit” by Francesca Battistelli.

Song’s Plea

She begins singing about how precious God is in our life. For those who have walked with Him, you know what she sings of. The times God has stirred the heart. When He reached out and touched us.

This is what we all can experience. Like faith, this desire must be a constant action.

We know this form of communion with God because we feel Him in our lives. We study His word because He speaks through it. We see His hand because we’ve prayed to Him. He begins to open our eyes, and heal our hearts.

The chorus covers the most intimate need and want of the Holy Spirit within our heart and our soul. For us to be washed thoroughly and constantly in the state of revival.

No one, as she sings, could ever replicate God. Nothing comes close.

The desire to know God, to see His hand in our daily life. To take part of His Spirit every single day.

This is what we long for.

This is what our relationship with Him needs to be.

Praise be to God.
