Song Sunday | Sparrows

“Sparrows,” by Jason Grey

Worry does nothing except consume our soul.

Having fear will not change circumstances.

These anxieties may make us feel secluded. But God who is the Master and Creator can handle our problems. Even the birds of the air know this.

When we put our focus on God, we start seeing His hand at work. We feel His presence. His peace begins to wrap around our heart.

Everything in life is crafted from the work of His hand. The stars, flowers, and yes, us. When we want to forfeit to this world, look at God and be reminded of the sparrows.

This song is one of my favorites because its lyrics are very real. Something we all relate to. We forgot that if God takes care of the birds of the air, how much more will He take care of us.

  1. “We forgot that if God takes care of the birds of the air, how much more will He take care of us.” Beautiful words, and so true. ❤ I love where Jesus talks about the sparrows in Matthew 🙂 They neither sow nor reap, yet the Lord still cares for them.
