Relationship with Christ

The Rope We Hold Onto Is In God’s Hands

It doesn’t matter what the world says.

It doesn’t matter what someone tells you.

God is the Impossible. He can move mountains into the sea. When we struggle as believers, we let the burdens overwhelm our hearts. We take to take hold of the wheel of control.

But the truth is simple, and clinging to the truth is humbling and assuring.

God’s got us.

God’s got this.

Give Him the wheel of your life. Give Him precedent over everything in your life, and everything you struggle with.

In our life, we are hanging on a rope. Most people feel like they are stuck. Afraid to climb higher, closer to the goal. Tired and scared.

Many don’t know God is the One holding us up.

And many believers that do know question why. If God is the keeper of holding us up, why have us struggle to begin with?

Unlike the lie of the world, God is our strength in weakness. And it is in hard times God forces us to look at Him, and trust Him. It is ONLY in these times we truly learn what faith is. Belief we can have in Jesus every day, but not faith.

Faith is only shown in the unseen. Faith is the action of trusting and believing in God. And scripture says few will truly know what faith is.

Don’t look down and be afraid of what you see.

Look up and be assured of what God is going to do!

Even if we have a ways to go, God is, after all, holding us up.

Look for His hand in your life.

When we are weak, THEN we are strong because the power of Christ in upon us. We aren’t relying on ourselves anymore. We aren’t trusting our weakened state to get us there. We aren’t trusting the rope to hold us.

We trust in God, and He sustains us. We move forward encouraged by His presence and promise.

God is with us beloved!

(NIV) Psalm 34:17-18,  “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

  1. Loved your post💜
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts of what God is revealing to you and feeding the sheep.
Your post also reminded of the scripture that I was given when I got baptised: Proverbs 3:16
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight.”
