Midweek Inspiration | Growing During Harvest

One of the most simple and comforting phrases I’ve enjoyed throughout the years is, “This too shall pass.”

Our trials will not last forever.

Our troubling situations will not last forever.

Scriptures say there’s a season for everything.

Sometimes it’s joy, and sometimes it is sorrow.

In the calm and quiet, or in the loud and chaotic.

For a harvest to be gathered, it must first be sown. Our life is similar. Obstacles come in our life. It’s through these situations often times great lessons are learned. The fruit of the harvest.

We all are going through something. I wish you all peace of assurance. Guidance to move forward, and strength from the love of Christ.

Please keep the victims of Hurricane Harvey in your prayers, and please pray for those in the path of Hurricane Irma.

If you would like to learn about the atonement sacrifice, what Christ experienced on the cross, and how could a loving God kill His Son please see: Why Did A Loving God Kill His Son (Does God Hate?)

What kind of fruit is being sown in your heart?

  2. Such a great post. I liked your quote, “Our trials will not last forever.
Our troubling situations will not last forever.”

That is such a great reminder; especially when there seems to be no end to the troubling situations. God is the Lord of the Harvest and everything that was sown, must grow.

  3. Lovely post as always ❤️

Definitely, prayers for those effected by Hurricane Harvey. If things don’t change, we are in the path of Hurricane Irma and prayers would be greatly appreciated. ❤️
