Community Prayer Requests | February ’18

This post is updated, sometimes daily, please check in for updates, answered prayers, and for continued prayer over the requests. Thank you!

Let’s work together on prayer by praying for each other and lifting up our needs. Christ said where two or more are gathered in His name, and there are definitely more than two of us. Let us come together to Him even if we are miles apart. Let us lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ and anyone who can join the body of Christ.

Purpose- Draw Closer To God, Draw Closer To The Community, See Answered Prayers

I want us as a community to pray for a month. I want to work on giving time to Christ and increasing faith. Prayer can be one of the most powerful ways we go to Christ, we are to come to Him boldly, and believe.

Here are prayer requests for the month of February.

A friend- A girl I know will be in the hospital till she gives birth, which hopefully will be for at least seven weeks from now. She has preeclampsia.  Please pray for God to be with her, and the baby.

Update: She has given birth to a wonderful baby boy (ultrasounds originally were believed to be girl). He is weighing currently at two pounds. He was able to breathe on his own from the start (PRAISE GOD!) He is already going beyond expectations. Continued prayers for the baby, he is a growth restricted premie and has a long road ahead of him. But God is good ❤ ❤ Prayers for his mother to have easy healing from delievery.

Biblebloggergirl– Continued prayers for RC for his cancer. That he feels the love and support of God and healing.

-There was a kid who was in a four-wheeler accident and is in critical condition.

UPDATE- I’ve been informed by Biblebloggergirl, “The request I made about the kid in the accident – there has been an update already! I think a lot of people had been praying for him, and came out of his induced coma early and is now in a wheelchair. He has even been to school! PTL!”

PRAISE THE LORD INDEED! It’s only been about a week since I was alerted of this prayer request. God is good!

Belleunruh– Continued prayers for her mother who has cancer, and for her to continue to feel strengthened by Christ.

-She has also requested prayers for her niece who will be going through therapy. We need to ask God that this therapy helps her, and may God lift up her niece.

Sue Love & Her Husband – Continued prayer for Sue to feel assurance, guidance, and direction from the Lord. Prayer for her husband’s spirit to be pricked and refined by the Lord daily. For him to be truthful. To lay the past at the feet of Jesus, and to leave any sins there. God helps us overcome, amen!

She requests for her husband-“In addition to what you have already been praying for him, that you pray for him that he would keep giving the things of his life over to the Lord, and trusting HIM, instead of trying to fix things himself. He is very thankful to know that people are praying for him.” 

Donna– She requested prayer that God direct her time help her not only use it wisely, but according to His purpose.

A fellow blogger– has an unspoken request. Please lift up this request and ask for God’s guidance and healing.

Lea– She is having a hard time with confidence, and I’m asking for continued prayers to uplift her. May she be encouraged by the Lord and feel His direction in her life.

Tamara– I’m asking continued prayers for her son Elliott, and for Tamara to continue to advocate those with mental illness and those supporting loved ones with mental illness.

A friend’s brother– In addition to Tamara, I’m going to open this prayer request to the public. I know someone’s brother who has schizophrenia and he needs to be uplifted. I ask for prayers that he is surrounded by those who can support and help him. I ask prayers of strength for the family.  I also ask this friend of mine be uplifted against anxiety. That this friend feels continued assurance from God, and His teachings.

Growing Through Something– Let’s lift her up and ask for God to help the direction of her blog, and that she is not overwhelmed.

God’s Warrior– He asks that God continue to reveal to him things through scripture. Let’s lift him up.

Christi Lynn– She requests guidance as the Lord prepares her for college.

Red Letters- Hayley has requested continued prayer for her niece, Taylor.

“It’s the same as before, but now my niece has completely cut herself off from the whole family. We love her very much and just want to see her come back.”

Let’s lift up, Taylor and pray for the Lord to shine His light and His love all over her. May she be consumed in love, and joy overrides whatever darkness she is going through.

Beehopper– She requests,

-“I have 4 adult children with family and one child at home. I’d say we all need the wisdom of the Lord. We’re all going through transitions. And we need healing-especially in my oldest sons household. He’s been battling illness for years. So WISDOM and HEALING. THANK YOU! God bless.” Amen.

Leigh– She requests continued prayer. Let’s lift her up. She has said throughout this she has grown closer to God, amen! She also requests wisdom from the Lord. Amen!

“Please continue to pray for me as I wait for my hearing date for disability. I’m nervous because I’m afraid my age (34) is going to go against me but please pray that the Lord gives the judge wisdom in deciding whether I should be awarded.” 

JCSG– Requests for guidance from God to be known.

Amen.

Tymia- she is a woman who lost her baby boy due to the flue epidemic. Prayers for comfort, finances, and God’s hand.

My request– We have a tight budget right now, and it is scary to me with the bills we have. Just ask for the Lord’s hand to be involved. I know He is strong.

Remember, to pray for the lost, for the body of Christ, leaders to be strengthened, and believers to draw closer to God. We have some fellow bloggers in ministeries in Italy and India, please remember them.
