When I’ve Needed Encouragement | Life Update/Chat

This post is not my typical Thursday’s post. I’ve had some ideas on what to write, but I also have been feeling tired. I may push the post I’m thinking of for next week, it ties to the poem I shared yesterday.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for those of you who have been so encouraging to me. Some of you have been aware that these past few weeks have been trying for me, in a number of ways. I know I’m towards the end of it, thankfully! πŸ™‚

God has provided so much love to me and support, and He’s used the community to also be there for me.

Many of you don’t realize how He speaks through you to me, and thank you for listening and obeying Him so He can speak through you. πŸ™‚

Screen Shot 2018-02-14 at 11.57.10 PMThere were years I spent wondering if my writing would ever matter. I had doubt a lot. I was alone a lot. I wasn’t able to share my perspective with many who understood where I was coming from. I am thankful for the handful of close knit friends God has given me.

But aside from them, I didn’t know God would show me how to share my writing with strangers, and not only that, but people who once were strangers now have become blogging friends.

Your prayers, the comments, feedback, and being able to read your work, and try to encourage you as well has been an immense blessing. God has shown me so much. He’s helped me grow. He uses misunderstandings I experience to both humble and help me grow more.

I’m a flawed individual, and it means a lot to me that many of you take the time to read what God has put on my heart. What He’s shown me. For you to share with me what He is showing you.

This year, the topic of community has been on my heart, and I know that’s the goal I’m really working on incorporating this year.

But I could have never gotten this far without any of you helping me walk forward. I’m really grateful. Thank you for being part of my journey, and sharing the path with me.

Have a wonderful, Thursday!

Thank you all, again ❀

Praise I’d Like To Share With You All- As I finished writing this, I’ve been asking for prayer for finances. My husband is going to college, and we do not have an income at the moment.

We do have some finical help because of the military, but nonetheless things are tight. Prayers are appreciated for my husband to find a job in an environment he enjoys, and hopefully a place he can do his co-op.

As I was preparing to pay a bill, I had to move some funding from our savings, and we have some savings ready just for a moment like this, and God has helped us with some tax money, part of it has already come through. Because of this I was able to use money from that to pay a bill while we wait.

As soon as I paid the bill, I whispered “Thank you, Lord,” and then I went to twitter. The first tweet I see had the comment, “Thank you, Lord,” and this scripture attached. This post appeared within the past 26 seconds. RIGHT AFTER I SAID THE SAME PHRASE! The scripture??

“Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My right righteousness hand. Isaiah 41:10”

May we stand on the promises of our Savior!

Amen!Β He is with me, and He is with you!

Thank you, Lord Jesus, please let them hear You!Β

What is on your heart today?

What is God showing you right now?

Month Scripture (NIV) Hebrews 12:07 & 11, β€œEndure hardship as discipline. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

  1. I just wanted to thank you for the life update and how God has used the community to speak to you and vice versa.

I enjoy reading your posts becuase they bring such encouragement and life to those who read it including me; who wants to have a better relationship with the Father just like you.

What’s on my mind today is the thought of what to wirte in regards to blogging this month. This month has been a trying month for me blogging wise and I think it’s just a way for God to tell me something.

As you may have noticed, I haven’t what blogged as much this month and I think God is trying to tell me is to focus back on Him first and foremost before blogging becuase it’s only when I turn to Him that I gain revelations by reading His Word.

You know, it’s quite possible this is the plan right now. I think your last post was one of your more powerful ones and I think that reflects what He has been teaching you right now. Keep following what God’s puts on your heart! πŸ™‚

  2. I know that tight finances can be stressful, and I pray with you on the job situation. I’ve found that God comes through at just the right time after stretching our faith out of our comfort zone. We live by faith, not by sight. What an amazing testimony you are going to have to share with us about how great God is and how He cares for you! ❀

    1. If you have something to say, then it matters ❀ that's what God has taught me. Doubt doesn't have no place to say otherwise. I still struggle sometimes, but I do find comfort in this.

  4. Thank you for this encouragement. I am not feeling well today or yesterday, maybe it’s a bug. So, I have been very tired, too, and having to rest often. Not feeling very functional. But, God is good. He is carrying me through. I Know he is carrying you, too. Hugs!

    1. Thank you so much for your prayers! If you need any prayers please let me know. I have a community prayer each month I share for me and others to lift one another up.

Yes, it certainly can be a struggle, but your right God is there in the good, and He’s provided in the bad. I’m using this season to work more on trust in Him, despite fear. ❀

I'm so glad this blog could uplift you!! πŸ™‚ When I started reaching out to others, just like you are now, that is when I started to learn about the body of believes in this community. It's amazing ❀ It took me almost a year since my first blog post to really venture out and read others, and comment. But I'm glad God showed me that's how we reach people, He was probably smiling when I didn't realize that is how He uses others to reach us ❀

      Welcome to the community!!

  7. Aww, it has been a pleasure to follow you on your journey! πŸ™‚ It’s always a joy to see a post of yours in the reader.

It is so encouraging to read about how He is providing for you! ❀ And the timing of that Scripture being posted was amazing! He sure knows how to get our attention to let us know that He is at work.
