Midweek Inspiration | Child Of The Clouds

Sunlight streams through me.

Rainbows dance below.

I soar under His wing

a child of the clouds.

Up here I am not burdened.

Lightened by the weightless journey.

Flying high within the sky.

I am a child of the clouds.

Yet storms roll in

and I become afraid.

I seek His wing,

but I find rain.

Ice winds blow through

snow and hail fall down.

I weep with none to soothe.

A child of the clouds.

He tells me to trust Him.

That the time is now.

Though trials blow through

He will show me how.

A child of the clouds.

Are you a child of the clouds?

How does God speak to you on good days and bad?

    1. 🙂 thanks!!! I’ve thought of a couple of different things I wanted to have different poems on and then connect them all with one last one. I’m so glad you have been enjoying this. It’s very encouraging to me, thanks!

  1. Yes! Listening to Kat Kerr videos, I’ve been watching the sky for angels and for seeing God’s glory! Since we moved near a lake, I can’t help taking lots of cloud and suset photos, so much different scenes than I’m used to seeing in a valley at the base of wooded mountains. I use a lot of my photos in my blog posts 😎

  2. Girl. This was beautiful ❤ On the difficult days, I see Him when I find peace, in the moments when I can see His hand at work. On the good days, I find His presence in the smallest of joys, in the tiniest of moments that make my day brighter. 🙂
