(Putting this post together has taken so much time, which is why I did not post it as soon as I thought I would be able to. I truly am grateful for everyone’s help and enjoyment of the series. I hope you enjoy this post. 🙂 )
I could not have done this series without everyone’s help. Those who commented and shared, thanks to you, I was able to gain words and scriptures for this series. It was so nice being able to spotlight other bloggers throughout this series and share what you all had to say, and what came to your minds.
I started this series last year before I did community spotlight this year, and I feel like God really taught me a lot about community, especially through this series.
How It Started
When I came up with the idea for the Alphabet Devotional I didn’t know how anyone would take it. I mean the series was inspired because, a few years ago, I gave God a set of words, which I then wrote them on popsicle sticks, stuck them in a mug, and sometimes pulled them out as a remembrance.
I was hoping what the words have done for me could inspire others, and I think overall I can honestly say it has. I know a number of you have shared you will miss this series. But before this series ends I just want to share some things that came out of this series because of all of your involvement. 🙂
So get a notebook, pen, and Bible ready if you would like to jot down these words and scriptures so you could have your own “Alphabet Devotional”.

…And we are reaching the close of this post and series. I spent so many days and hours going through these some 22 posts getting the words and scriptures. Talk about memory lane! We spent over half of the year on Mondays discussing words and scriptures that connected us to what it meant to have a relationship with Christ and God.
I know there were a number of you who looked forward to the posts, and I hope when I took my hiatus from the series it didn’t upset you too much. Like I said, no worries, I still have other series that will be extremely similar to this! But I too now feel the sad goodbye and thankfulness of this (now) completed series.
I hope this series blessed you and encouraged you. It definitely helped me push consistency, and learn what it meant to keep a schedule and learn about taking breaks as well.
It held a lot of lessons, and now this post allows us all to take away everything it gave. 🙂
Again, thank you so much, everyone!!
Month Scripture (NIV) Job 2:10, “Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”

Thank you so much, Maggie!! It took me so long to get everything together. I was really hoping everyone would enjoy this post 🙂 Haha, I did not even realize that! I actually am planning on a music post coming up this Friday on songs I’ve been listening to for the month of June. 🙂 I hope people enjoy that. I can’t wait to continue this series idea but with different themes! ❤
