Midweek Inspiration | Keep Strong, The Battle Is Not Over

I know some of you are going through some really tough situations right now. It’s easy for our enemy to sneer at us, and try to push us into the mud. It’s hard to keep fighting and believing strong.

But is exactly what we must do!!!

I’ve noticed the more I have been getting closer to God and the more I’ve been wanting to do for Him, things and life have continued to throw curveballs, especially during or right after a really strong moment with Him.

God is teaching me to look at this moments as opportunities for His glory, despite setbacks, despite the pain, and despite how limited I am in understanding His plan and His glory.

Do not give up today my friend! Do not let the shadows deceive you!

(NLT) Psalm 6:02-03, “Have compassion on me, LORD, for I am weak. Heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony. I am sick at heart. How long, O LORD, until You restore me?Return, O LORD, and rescue me. Save me because of Your unfailing love.”

And Remember...Be The Salt Of The earthAnd The Light On The HillWe Are His Branches1

Month Scripture (NIV) Job 2:10, “Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”

  1. Amen sis. What the devil is really after is our faith. The delays, setbacks, pains and chaos is for us to make us believe that God is no longer on our side. When we know what he is after, we will know how to fight back

  2. I have felt the exact same way recently! Life continues to bring me down just when I know I’ve drawn nearer to the Lord, which is a sign that I’m growing in my relationship with Him – I can recognize when that happens! Just today, I was thinking through all the ways I get distracted from spending time with the Lord, and just making that list immensely helped me to reduce the amount of distractions I’ve faced today. It helps me so much to decide that I’m going to keep praying or reading the Bible, even if something attempts to take my focus from Him.

Thank you so much for this! ❤

    1. ❤ amen, Maggie!!! There are so many things that definitely distract us! I'm so glad your list has helped you target what you want to focus on, and less of.

I also wanted to let you know, NO PRESSURE, I wrote a piece on Peeking Beneath (I think it's considered flash fiction) and I would love to hear your opinion, if you find time. The beginning is a little dark, but it just has to do with darkness trying to take over us when we are weak and give in to those feelings/pain.
