Community Prayer Request | July ’18

This post is updated, sometimes daily, please check in for updates, answered prayers, and for continued prayer over the requests. Thank you!

Let’s work together on prayer by praying for each other and lifting up our needs. Christ said where two or more are gathered in His name, and there are definitely more than two of us. Let us come together to Him even if we are miles apart. Let us lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ and anyone who can join the body of Christ.

Purpose- Draw Closer To God, Draw Closer To The Community, See Answered Prayers

I want us as a community to pray for a month. I want to work on giving time to Christ and increasing faith. Prayer can be one of the most powerful ways we go to Christ, we are to come to Him boldly, and believe.

Please Comment Below –

If God reached out to you during this month of prayer, please share how He reached you down below. Whether prayer was listed or not.

If you would like your request listed, please comment below. If you do not want to say details just say unspoken, and I will add it. God will know what the unspoken is. 🙂

But, I know that God is a God of miracles, and he can get through to Frank even when his mind is not all there, which it isn’t much now days.

  1. T.R., I would like prayer for my father-in-law, Frank. He is nearly 91 years old and he has Alzheimer’s and he is in the late stages with it, although he still has lucid moments and he still knows who we are part of the time. He is not a believer in Jesus, and he has resisted such belief most all of his life, and in his lucid moments when I have shared the gospel with him, he rejected it. But, I know that God is a God of miracles, and he can get through to Frank even when his mind is not all there, which it isn’t much now days.

He was placed in a nursing home this past Tuesday and he is not happy about it. He feels as though his life has been taken away from him. I feel for him. But, perhaps, in this time period when he is alone with himself God can get through to him. I pray that would be so, for the saddest thing of it all is not that he has Alzheimer’s, or that he is stuck in a nursing home, against his will, but that he has rejected Jesus Christ and he may not have much time left on this earth. That is what truly breaks my heart.

    Thanks – Sue

  2. Thank you for your prayers. We saw God at work in our lives and those we served on the mission trip ( I will be posting some pictures and a few stories later). Also He made himself known to the children at Day Camp through the weather and His word. Two children received the Lord as Savior and four followed Him in baptism(More to follow later too), We are praising God for all He has done even as we ask Him to bless the upcoming camp for the older kids. Might included in prayers for the boy’s cabin 3 to be done in time for this camp. Thanks again.
