I’ve had to tell myself that the only person who is really holding myself accountable to the blog schedule is me. Meaning if I want to jump around or have some posts in a different order it is completely ok.
Sometimes in life we expect or even desire things to go a particular way. But there is no guarantee this will happen. Do we roll with the punches or do we get sucked under and drown? (seriously, waves are no joke and can knock you down.)
Today, take a breath and live in the moment. If it is a good season be grateful, but if you are in a hard season do not give up. We are a child of a King and that says everything. 🙂
(NIV) Ecclesiastes 3:06, “A time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away.”

Agreed! I do believe blogging is important in the sense my writing can be used for ministry for His glory and to reach others. But it is not important when everything little thing is not polished. When I am the one freaking out about the behind the scenes work and no one else is bothered by it.

Amen. It’s freeing to go with the flow. Oftentimes I realize it is only myself putting these huge demands on myself. Thank goodness fo the Holy Spirit and the gentle reminders to follow its lead not our own. So proud of you T.R. it’s awesome to see your growth 🙏🏾💕

Thank you, dear TR! Sometimes it’s hard to give yourself permission…we get so tied to our blog schedules. This post is exactly what I needed to read this morning! ❤ ❤

Yes and those bounds hold no power! I can’t and sjould not get worked up about something I placed on my own shoulders and that’s as far as it goes. I am so glad this spoke to you, Lynn!

Love it. So true – I’m in a season of rough surf and lots of unknowns, and my agenda is always subject to God’s re-writing (especially in writing, ha!)

T.R this is the way forward. And I apply this principle a lot and it helps me get my mind and entire life in order.

The Lord is trying to teach me that lesson as well. Don’t lose the joy of what we do by overwhelming ourselves. Thanks for the word.

Great insight! I feel that way too…I stop myself from writing for fear of imperfection. Must remember that nothing can be perfect. Let go and let God: so much easier said than to do.

Amen!!! It is much easier to say than to do! But one step forward helps 🙂

Yes I agree with you T.R!!! Continue to run the race and go forth with your coach hand in hand Jesus Christ! You got this! And most importantly He got you and will continue to write through you for His Name to be glorified! Blessings!

Amen! I can get hung up on something I feel inspired to write about, and I have several started and unfinished. The actually blogs that get posted are completely Holy Spirit inspired. I know this because they pour out of me, the scriptures line up, and I have sweet tears as I write. I share to my social media and I never know who is actually reading them. Yet every time, some one (usually someone I have no idea would read it!!) comments in person to me. THAT is when I know God is in control of it and I am a vessel. #Histiming

I’ve been thinking about your post and felt compelled to just write and post. I’ve been holding myself back picturing a perfect, polished post. I just went for it and the topic that felt right to write about was what I did. I am also a bit shy sharing my faith, but that’s one the main reasons why I started blogging. So I’m learning to develop my voice.
Feeling good! Thanks for the encouragement!!

Oh wow! I know how hard it can be to open up!! It is not as easy as it sounds. Blogging about our relationship with Christ is so important! I’ve seen God use people to reach me as a blogger and I’ve seen Him use me to reach others. You will be amazed at His hand 🙂 praise the Lord. Thank you so much for having the courage to open up!!!

Ironically enough, my first post in 2016 talked about how I wanted everything to be polished too. 😉

I agree. 🙂 I’m finding it hard to keep to a blogging schedule lately! I’m all over the place. But like you said, it’s okay to jump around. I just don’t think I would be capable of posting almost every day like you do! ❤
