Following yesterday’s post, even if we feel the Lord is silent, we do not have to be toward Him. 🙂
He helps us heal. He gives us joy. Praise Him always!
He turned my crying into dancing.
He always has a plan. He always has a purpose. His timing is greater than ours. But we will see His hand. He has never left us. Don’t leave Him!
(NIV) Psalm 30:11, “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.”
Monthly Scripture – (NIV) Psalm 139:23-24, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

G’day T.R
“Even when we feel the Lord is silent, we do not have to be toward him” – That is a pretty awesome truth my friend. You could do a whole post about this alone. Christians really need to be encouraged with stuff like this.
And I guess we need to ask whether we are actually listening in the first place lol ..or are we scrolling social media.
Thanks for sharing

Hello TR! So glad I followed you because this is once again a post that really speaks to me. There have been many times where I thought the Lord has been silent and it would cause me to be silent as well. One way having a blog has helped me is by not allowing myself to be silent about my faith and really opening up to the world, as well as strengthening my relationship with Him—the ultimate goal! I have definitely been listening more in these times of “silence” because I’ve learned that sometimes it’s not silence, it’s just a whisper and you have to listen extra close.
Hope you’ve had a wonderful Wednesday!

Amen, Katie! You are so right!!! He may be trying to say something to us but if we are focused on Him and listening, like you say, we won’t know it. So important we listen and look for His hand at work, even if it does not appear during a time we would find more acceptable.
