As some of us celebrate Christmas please stay mindful on Christ!!

It is not about tradition.

It is not about busyness.

It is not even about family get-togethers.

All of this comes after Christ, not before Him. Unless we make other idols.

God has shown us grace, through Christ.

Remember that and as you gather together be thankful.

Growing up as a teen, adults did not provide me with the answers I wanted. I thought I was spiritually mature. Decades later, I saw the importance of understanding and being able to identify deception, false teachers/prophets. I realized my own ignorance about the Bible and the need to study all portions. I came out of the false doctrine of the Seeker-Driven movement, as well as the Holiness doctrine suffering under the legalism of sinless perfection. My goal is to help readers grow in the word of God. To trust His word. To tear apart deceptions, and to encourage Christian Apologetics. My second blog is Peeking Beneath, little more personal, which occasionally is updated. Aside from blogging, I am a wife. I am working on a Christian Fantasy series. I enjoy painting, gardening, cooking, reading, and learning from godly men and women.

  4. Thank you so much for the post, T.R. I completely agree with you. For me, I feel that God has been showing me through this Christmas season is putting Him first above all else.

    I’ve noticed that when I start distancing myself from reading His Word or just taking the time to pray, that everything starts to get more and more stressful.

    This Christmas, the Lord has really highlighted for me the fact that He is coming again! Just as He promised to come the first time, He will keep His promise to come again! Just as His first Advent has come, His second Advent will come! And what joy and confidence we can have in Him, knowing He’s done it once, and will do it again. Oh for that day! O come, O come, Emmanuel!

    May your Christmas be blessed with His sweet presence! ❤️
