I tremble
and I feel the darkness.
My hands grip at my side.
I feel so lonely.
Tears fall as my heart cries out.
But no sound is heard out loud.
And in the silence, You hear
my broken soul.
You call me out.
I feel Your hand with me!
Holy One, Lord.
Holy One, don’t let go.
I am breaking.
My self-control is nothing.
Your Spirit reminds me.
The fruit comes from only You, Lord.
I need a reminder daily.
Please, wash me in Your Fire, Potter.
And in the silence, You hear
my broken soul.
You call me out.
I feel Your hand with me.
Holy One, Lord God.
In the silence, You hear
my broken soul.
You call me out.
I feel Your hand with me!
My heart cries out
and You wrap me in Your wing.
In the silence, You hear.
In the silence, You hear.
In the silence, You hear me.
Written 01/13/2019: When He tells us He is there and that we are not forgotten, beloved of Christ, believe Him and trust His words. He means it! We do not always need words or make sounds for Him to know we are calling out.
(NIV) Romans 8:26, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
Right where I am!
