I’m really grateful for everyone who took the time to give me their feedback on what their favorite logo was out of the four I provided (see last post) and some were kind enough to give me additional feedback. At the time I write this, the post got shared 16 times, so if you were looking for feedback for me, thank you, or simply wanted to share the post, thank you.
In case you wondered…
Why A New Logo? – I wanted to create something that was more unique than the past logos and icons I’ve created before for this blog. A cup by itself will not do because of what Christ taught. I want to go deeper in my blog about scripture, the lessons God has shown me, and so many others things He has given, and ways I hope I can encourage others to connect with Him.
If you are not familiar with my second blog, I wanted to create something that was unique to what I created for Peeking Beneath. I didn’t want to use one image that someone else used. I wanted to use multiple images and try to make it my own. I’m not a graphic designer with manual skills. So I am limited on color choices somewhat, and budget is not an option right now. I’m working with public domain images, Canva, and all of you who took time to help me. 🙂 Thank you, again.
Feedback- Surprisingly, the logo that was most voted for was number one, and in fact, it was my least favorite at the time. After hearing feedback about simplicity, I can see why people liked it. Some people liked the border for color or for symbolism, I did take the feedback on the color especially with this next set.
Votes (30)– #1 got 15 votes (50% of votes), #3 came in second with 8 votes, #4 had four votes and last was #2 with 3 votes. (this included some people sharing two favorites, instead of one).
Some new options, I listened to feedback, I played around mostly with the highest voted option, but I also played around with some color. Some people really were torn last time between 1 and 3 (the third option had a border/color) so one option in particular tries to balance out that struggle. I may have found “the one” but before I decide, I want to hear your feedback once more. Do not worry about image size or if it appears blurry. These are screen shots I took of mock ups. The final choice will be decently proportioned and have a proper downloaded file.
Option 1- No border or changes
Option 2- Steam and Plate Gone
Option 3 – Simple Border, Not Extravagant
Option 4 – Something A Little Different
Option 5 – Playing With Color
Option 6- Playing With Color
Let me know what you think 🙂 I love the idea of choosing the logo for this blog with help from the community. ❤ It means a lot.

Which option do you like best?
Monthly Scripture – (NIV) 2 Corinthians 4:02, “Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.”

I like number 1, but I wonder what it would look like if you added color to the tree.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to recolor the tree with ease. 🙂

Maybe you could just add a few colored buds or flowers to it. But either way I still like #1 best 😁

Ooh those are so pretty! I originally voted number 1, but I also think number 4 would fit your blog really well, so I choose #4! 🙂

I love how simple number one is, but I also love what you did with the border for 3, so my final answer is 3.

Ooops I’m late catching up so I missed the earlier post on this. I actually really like all of them, they’re very pretty! But, if I were to choose a favourite, I’d say no.5 because it’s so different and I like the touch of colour 🙂

I like color added. It makes it more visible, which, why have a logo if it’s hard to see? I think the additional color of 5 makes it pop more, but I actually like 4 better.

❤ 4 is my favorite, too. It's nice to see people like 5, I wasn't sure about it. But I'm glad to see as much people like 4 as well 🙂
