Quotes From You | March ’19

A month that blossoms with the hope of spring. Thank you for being patient! This post would have been sooner, but the week usually for community posts I used preparing for Resurrection Day. 🙂

These are the quotes that spoke to me in the month of March

“What I am saying is that the bigger things that you are going to have a problem with later in life – don’t let those go. Pick those battles now so that they are not as hard later.”- Love Joy Balance

“There were times when I thought I’d never find a “clean” or “Christian” book that wasn’t predictable and dull, or a movie that wasn’t poorly acted or sickeningly sweet. But those options are available in many genres and styles if you’re willing to invest the time and energy in searching. And you’ll find that your tastes will change, as you become more sensitive to sin and drawn toward that which you know Christ could enjoy right beside you.”- Meredith

“Christians can spend a lifetime wondering about the will of God. Conferences, fasting, pleading with him in prayer and asking everyone who offers to pray that it will be revealed. Some believers are expecting a massive wiz-bang moment where everything is made clear while others just want a little glimpse so they can move forward.” – Evad Mac

“I guess that’s why I love the Old Testament so much; the saints of old struggled in much the same way I do. Although the details of their daily lives differ from mine,  human nature remains much the same.   It’s pretty predictable, in fact.”- Lynn

“Many are still living in condemnation and sin because they have not yet accepted the offer of reconciliation that Jesus Christ has given us…God has sent the offer of reconciliation to everyone but until acceptance is made, that offer is incomplete… We have a very important and relevant role to play here on earth. Our role is not to be taken for granted. God has made reconciliation by Christ, and that ministry has been committed to us.- Efua

“For years, I’ve struggled with feelings that God is distant. He seems to be present in others’ lives but not in mine. I can see Him working in the hearts of others but not in my heart. I listen to other people say they “hear” God but I just can’t.”- Grace- Tizzie Tidbits

“I am patiently waiting for His plans, whatever it is. I know it will always be for the better because He knows everything. I delight myself in prayers every time so that I will have the patience to wait.” – Jirah

“It has never been about us. We may fail. We may be trash. But it doesn’t matterGod himself has declared that we are carefully and wonderfully made. His truth is eternal. There is never a point when we will not be beautifully and wonderfully made. You can run away. You can try to hide in the darkness. But it won’t change anything.” Faith On The Farm

“Great changes can happen in the lives of individuals, churches, and nations when the Word of God is understood properly.  It is so powerful that it demands a response from the hearers.” Hearts Word

“When I start thinking about all those many other ways I could act or look like, I try to think of my personal favorite verse.” Conceptualizing

“You may feel abandoned, and have no idea at all how you’re going to make it. You’re going to have to reach deep into God’s resources, because no one has any reserves of their own to keep moving forward.” Living Like A Green Olive Tree

“But, then, at some point in time, the Lord opened my eyes to see what was going on, to realize the lies that were being passed off as truth. He helped me to see this shift which had taken place in the church, and how very subtly and slowly these lies had been introduced, and accepted, too.” Sue Love

  1. Thanks for sharing these quotes T.R.

I think this one stood out to me – ” Some believers are expecting a massive wiz-bang moment where everything is made clear while others just want a little glimpse so they can move forward.” – Evad Mac”

I went through a phase of seeking a “wiz-bang” moment (I had some) and found that faith and trust have their place too.

  4. T.R. – Thank you so much for all the many ways you reach out to the blogging community. I appreciate how you share other people’s blog posts or quotes from their blog posts, or how you feature their blogs, or how you have community prayer requests, etc. It helps all of us to get to know each other better and to become of aware of blogs we may not have yet found, and also to become aware of other bloggers’ needs. I have discovered many wonderful blogs/bloggers from your site. So, thank you. And, thank you for the times you include me and my (the Lord’s) blog in these, too. It is most appreciated! Sue

    1. ❤ ❤ God has taught me a lot through focusing on the community and the Bride. The community very much is a church. There are a lot of ministries through other bloggers, our blogs can be a ministry. I'm gpad I can bring awareness to others, and encourage others with other members of the community. 🙂
