Standing Out In The World Means We Will Be Different

Being a Christian means we SHOULD NOT relate to everyone in everything.

If we want to reach the world, we have to give up the world. Hear me? We can’t relate to people through passions of the flesh. That helps no one. It doesn’t point people to Christ. It pulls people away.

If we are lukewarm and think we are the right examples, we are pulling away more people AND there are consequences for our actions pulling down others.

(NIV) Jeremiah 23:01, “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the LORD.”

I know this is not a fuzzy message. It is not meant to be. I see a lot of people talk about loving others, and apparently, our world thinks that hiding the truth of conviction and sin is how we are to love.

Well, it isn’t.

If anyone says look to Christ and how He loved, yet is waking on eggshells around the topic of sin and what we need to be wary of…I don’t know what kind of anti-Christ they were looking at. That’s not my Savior. He came to save us from wickedness!

Because my Lord was not hesitant when it came to sin. Not to the fallen believers OR the sinner. He told the sinner to stop sinning. He was more verbal with fallen believers.

(NIV) Hebrews 12:07, “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?”

I want to talk about this more in depth at some point, explaining why some of my posts can come off, not gentle. That’s because even though I speak with kindness, best as I can, the topics themselves are not gentle. But I am constantly seeing in scripture WHY I must continue to talk about these things.

Scripture is not hidden with believers.

As a reminder, this blog specifically is aimed at believers, those who have said they have accepted salvation. Those who do not know Christ, some of my posts may not be for everyone, that’s okay. I’m grateful that many posts have spoken to others though. That’s all God, and I’m glad and thankful He has helped me write on “lighter” topics. As a disclaimer, I’m not watering down my messages because I certainly refuse to water down scripture because that may be more appealing.

Want to know what isn’t appealing?

I’m accountable to sharing the truth, and I want people to be pulled to Christ. Seek Him first in everything.

We ALL, myself included, need to draw closer to Him, and it starts today. Stop putting off your walk with Christ. Stop waiting for “tomorrow.”

(NIV) James 4:14, “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

  1. This is the message, needed for the endtime.
I really agree with you on the point of others shying from rebuking in the name of ‘love’. Even Christ, our ultimate example, sometimes took to the ‘harsh’ as we will normally call it as led. He was hard of the Pharisees in particular and also to the backslidden.
We need that Holy Spirit boldness to face a perverse generation even to death. Things ain’t going to get better in this world. Sin is and will be on fleak….
Lord, anoint and enable is as we yield to you.
Your Word says in Philippians 2:13 that you will create in us both to will and to do after your good will. The real test is in the face of persecution. If we say we love Him and will stand to the end, our love has passed through the fire and has been proven true….
You really spoke to me when you made mention of we putting off our walk with Him ☺ He has been speaking to me on that too.
God bless and increase you 🙏

    1. Thank you so much!!! I think people misunderstand what godly love is, and real love of Christ is willing to talk about difficult issues. God is wonderful and amen, He truly prepares us and refines us!
