End of Time scripture often causes some of the biggest controversies, debates, and discords among believers.
One of the reasons I started my End Of Time series was mainly to inform people of what scripture said, where to find it, and what kind of parallels can be made in other pieces of scripture. It’s still my main goal. 🙂
When I started to become interested in the topic at 13 I mainly read Matthew 24 and Revelation. I also was deeply interested in other books and people’s interpretations of these scriptures. But I started noticing some common themes.
- Days of Noah
- Anti Christ
That was about it. I actually believe in all of these things (to an extent). But through studying the Word of God and not relying on others, my eyes have been opened to a lot of things. I’ve found scripture for topics I didn’t even know existed in other places of the Bible, and that’s exciting! I’ve found scripture that challenged things I’ve previously thought.
STUDYING SCRIPTURE ON YOUR OWN WITH THE LORD DOES SO MUCH!
People shy away because scripture is cryptic and difficult to understand. But I encourage you, there truly is so much to be gained! There are a lot of people who have thoughts about the End of Times, but not the Biblical knowledge to truly support why they think the way they do. Relying on others, and their theories, is not good enough.
This is an opportunity to draw closer to God.
So, here is the thing. I KNEW I couldn’t continue the series until I have notes on the topics and scriptures I want to cover. I’m not just going to throw them out at my reader.
Regarding scripture, I have NO REASON to be biased. This is about focusing on what scripture says, nothing else.
God has taught me this past year, especially, it’s about referencing. Looking at pieces of scripture and see where it correlates elsewhere in the Bible. Jesus often did the same thing when He taught, and that’s important.
My knowledge is limited in these references and connections. I knew I had to dig in again, and this time, I had the ambition from my sister in Christ. This desire to continue the series has been on my shoulders for a while and I needed this push.
This past week from Thursday to Saturday most of my days were spent in scripture, particularly, in Daniel. One of the most confusing and cryptic books for a lot of people. My brain would feel like mush from the amount of time I poured over scripture. I would have to take a break, and then go right back.
I’ve never done this amount of research in scripture before. I’ve never dedicated so many daily hours to the BIble. But let me tell you, I LEARNED SO MUCH. God definitely taught me through it, which is what I was praying for. For me, not to be biased and to let go of what “I think” is right.
I have a document over 4,000 words in it. Clearly, I cannot have one long blog post detailing all of the scriptures, similarities, etc. Meaning, I will be continuing the End of Time series soon, but I will have to work on making bite-sized portions. I still have so many things to study, and even after this series, I will still have many things to study over and over.
That’s basically it. I’m not going to fill in the blanks, this isn’t about interpreting, per se. I will inform to the best of my ability and whatever else the Lord provides me. He has truly helped me so much in thinking about things I would have been guarded against in the past.
I’m not going to talk about our world’s history. The focus will be on the scripture, not connecting the dots. Very lightly will some of my thoughts be sprinkled throughout, but it’s not to persuade. I just want to add a discussion, and I know some people are curious about my thoughts, as I am the one writing it.
The series, however, really is for the glory of God, and for you, the reader. It’s not about me. 🙂 I want you to be informed, and to go forward in ALL scripture with God.
If you would like to check out the previous posts I’ve done. (I am planning for my newer posts to have a somewhat different format.)

If you have questions, thoughts, things you think to be true about the End Of Times feel free to share below! I really want to make sure I have a better perspective as I continue to study.
I’m grateful for my sister in Christ being open with where she stands, regardless of our varied perspectives. It just encourages me to focus on the truth and Jesus. That we all be gentle and loving towards each other in this topic, especially. 🙂
