Community Spotlight | September ’19

Vulnerability, trials, and gratitude. That is one of the best ways to describe this monthly selection of posts from Christian bloggers. Always love it when people take things deeper and many of these posts do, as well, as lighten up the seriousness with a positive focus on Jesus.

All of these posts have been written in September 2019 or before. Please do not feel you need to make this list to make a difference to someone!! Remain faithful, God will use you!

(Biblebloggergirl)- Shae- Vulnerability– Shae shares how a singer encouraged her to be open with others and with God.

(Loved By King Of Kings) – Ruth – Garden Of Righteousness – Many of us know the Lord as the Gardener, but Ruth provides some extra insight we may not have thought about before.

Grumpy Or Grace – It’s really simple we have a choice to be grumpy or show grace.

(Olivia in Bolivia) – Olivia –  Update Week 1 – It’s been a blessing to see how the Lord has helped Olivia and graciously put her in a place where she has support all around her.

Update Week 5 – This was such an awesome update to read. Olivia has been desiring to work on speaking Spanish more, and God started answering her prayer.

(Watching Daily At Wisdom’s Gate) Robert – Vanity – I really like the point he makes about happiness not being what really matters. We wonder why the wicked seem to prosper, but at the end of the day, that’s not what really matters.

(Grace Over Pain) Efua- He Loves Us The Same – What a powerful post! One huge message she shares is her misconception of God and His love. If you ever feel like you aren’t doing enough, or just need a reminder of who God is, read this!

Our Children, Our Faith, Our Right – There is a lot going on in the UK school systems right now regarding sex education and for very young children. This post topic is not the easiest to talk about, but I think Efua did it with love and grace. We need to be praying for every nation on this planet.

(God’s Whispers Of Truth) Vivian – He Knows – I love how Vivian greatly goes through scripture to show us all of the ways God knows us and understands us.

(Becoming HIS Tapestry) Brenda – These 10 Things You Should Never, Ever, Do! – This list is packed with beautiful and challenging reminders we need to take to heart daily with the Lord!

(Run With It) Sue – What’s The Stink – I love this poem Sue wrote to show how deception is everywhere around us, but we do NOT have to bow to it.

(The Crafty Afro) EJ – 11 Reasons To Thank God This Thanksgiving – I love taking holidays and really making them focus on the Lord. This is a perfect list to focus on!!

(My Witness) Sarah- When You Keep Hitting The Wall– I love how relateable this post is. Sarah is very honest about the hard times in our life. She doesn’t try to dampen the trial by pointing to positive means like podcasts or whatever. Instead, she points directly to Christ and shares how even in hard times God uses these moments to help us.

  1. T.R., thank you for including the poem, “What’s the Stink?” in your community spotlight for September. I appreciate it. And, thank you for all those that you spotlight here on your blog on a regular basis. I meet so many new people this way, and I discover blogs I didn’t know about, and I read blog posts I missed before because you have this available to us. So, thank you for your commitment to including the blogging community in what you write on your blog. You have a wonderful ministry here.
