Have you experienced God replaying the same lesson over and over in His word? Everywhere you go, the topic is there? I've definitely been going through this with a particular scripture. (NLT) 2 Corinthians 4:18, "So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot… Continue reading Am I Living With Eyes Focused On Eternity… Struggling With The Flesh
It's probably helpful to note that I am NOT the best when it comes to making bread dough. In fact, it is STILL a learning process for me. I attempted a few times last year and just gave up because I didn't want to waste more flour and supplies. This year I decided to make… Continue reading We Are Like Bread Dough & God Is The Kneader
I am so grateful for the public domain for some of these furnishings we are going to cover. It makes thing so much easier to see what scripture is saying when we can visualize it. Today's Reading: Chapter 7 of 1 Kings Solomon's Other Buildings Verses 01-022 The temple took Solomon 7 years to complete.… Continue reading Brazen/Molten Sea & More Furnishings (WITH PICTURES!)
I wrote this poem for a sister in Christ. I realized as I began writing many of us have had an assortment of sleepless nights. Maybe anxiety, maybe spiritual warfare, maybe sin and something God wanted us to release to Him. But there is hope in Jesus! He is our sword! He is our shield! When we feel weak, THAT is when the battle really starts, that is when the enemy will keep attacking us.
Do not lose heart for it is in Jesus! Do not doubt for Christ is our hope!
This is dedicated to anyone who has experienced these kinds of nights. Sleepless nights vary in degree and I wanted to capture some of them in this poem. For those under the wings of Jesus, His followers, the battle has only begun! DO NOT GIVE UP!
Another night with shadows
up against the wall.
Another night with heart’s racing,
echoing my fall.
Another tear-soaked pillow
and sweat drenching my sheets.
Another day of hours wasted,
when the bedroom is my fleet.
In the midst of all that’s happening
this is what I know…
You are good.
You are great.
And Lord, You’re always true.
Jesus, please come as I feel
my flesh’s about to suffocate.
The enemy is laughing
as soon as my feet touch the floor.
My mind is blurry and body buzzing
exhaustions meet me at the door.
Arrows have been pointed,
for many weeks it seems.

I chose the picture of my yellow lilies because the sunlight and the yellow remind me of the glory of God. I am trying to write down all of my post ideas into one place and discovered a poem/song that I did not publish last year. I was taken aback by how powerful it is,… Continue reading Ask God To Break Down Walls
Clarification (02/19/2020) - The spiritual gift of discernment relates to people being able to recognize false teachers, false believers, etc. It relates to testing the spirits. However, all Christians are called to test the spirits. Discernment, as the definition shows relates to judgment as well. We are to discern, to have proper judgment. Discernment relating… Continue reading Discernment | Spiritual Gifts
The consequence of adultery is death. This Bible summary is a little longer than what I prefer, but that's because the takeaway message is so important. We will know others by their fruit. Who are we following? Today's Reading: Chapter 7 of Proverbs Continuing Warning Of Adultery Verse 01-05 continuing the remainder of the last section… Continue reading Being Seduced To Death
For a few weeks, I've been thinking about starting a series on words in the Bible and what does scripture actually say about them, what's the context? I think today being Valentine's Day and following the previous post about salvation, it's important to look at the word: confession or confess. To confess: admitting wrongs, declaring… Continue reading Confess/Confession – What Does The Bible Say?
In case of misunderstandings - Note added February 2nd, 2021 - I can understand how readers can go over this article and think I might be promoting works. The goal of this post is to show that salvation leads to sanctification, refinement. Salvation is often not something that happens in one night because our eyes… Continue reading I Used To Believe In The Sinner’s Prayer…I Do Not Anymore…
Are we providing footholds or traps of darkness that influence those around us? Ultimately, we make the final choice in whether or not we sin, but we can be pressured and influenced. This post idea was inspired by a fellow Christian blogger Pastor Matthew Winters.
