Ask God To Break Down Walls

I chose the picture of my yellow lilies because the sunlight and the yellow remind me of the glory of God.

I am trying to write down all of my post ideas into one place and discovered a poem/song that I did not publish last year. I was taken aback by how powerful it is, and I hope it speaks to you, too. All glory be to God!

I ask

that You break down all the walls.

Holy King, please come to us.

break the walls, break the walls.

I ask You to move

where no one has gone before.

Almighty, You are

the reason, the path, You are the light.

Lord, God, You’re the fire inside.

You are here. You are there.

You’re EVERYTHING.

The darkness has no hold. The darkness has no hold.

You’re EVERYTHING.

You consume and make to LIGHT. You consume and make it to LIGHT.

SHINE ON ALL THE DARKEN WALLS.

Lord, God, these whispers are haunting me

they bite into my soul.

Holy Fire, burn them all.

Lord, of all Light, please help me get through all of this.

It hurts Lord. Hurts me, Lord.

You’re EVERYTHING.

The darkness has no hold. The darkness has no hold.

You’re EVERYTHING.

You consume and make to LIGHT. You consume and make it to LIGHT.

SHINE ON ALL THE DARKEN WALLS.

Fill my empty soul.

Fill…help me hear You.

Fill up all the darkness

Burst forth with Your glory!

Fill my empty soul.

Fill…help me hear You.

Fill up all the darkness.

Burst forth with Your glory!

You’re EVERYTHING.

The darkness has no hold. The darkness has no hold.

You’re EVERYTHING.

Your Light burns within. Your Light burns within.

You’re EVERYTHING.

You consume and make to LIGHT. You consume and make it to LIGHT.

SHINE ON ALL THE DARKEN WALLS.

Monthly Scripture- (NKJ) Psalm 85:02, “You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah.”

Luke 11_39-40, _...so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy–full of greed and wickedness. Fools! Didn’t God make the inside as well as the outside_.png
