Edited 08/12/2020- This is an older series I am bringing up. I have changed the past title. The purpose is to focus on scripture and not take it out of context. Most of this post had been edited.
Meditate- to contemplate or ponder
Scripture To Meditate On– (NIV) 1 Peter 1:22, “Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.”
How To Meditate On This Scripture– When we follow Jesus because we put our faith in Him we are purified through His holiness, His truth (scripture), and walking the Spirit. This will allow us to have a growing sincere love because the love of Christ is also holy. The Holy Spirit helps renew us and change our way of thinking. Our love will increase all because of Christ. But if we do not put faith in Christ, and follow what the Bible tells us, we will not have a sincere love. We can only love because Christ first loved us, and we need the Lord Jesus and His truth to reign over our lives.
Scripture To Pray Over– (NIV) Luke 6:32, “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.”
How To Pray On This Scripture– “Dear, Lord, please guide me nd open up my eyes to Your word. May I love others with a compassion full of Your grace and mercy. Help me reach out and love those who want nothing to do with me. Those who do not understand me. Lord, Jesus, please help me shine Your light even when others hurt me, and when it is hard to be humble and forgive. Help me love the unlovable, just like You love me now.”
Community Prayer for August
Monthly Scripture – (NKJ) Psalm 85:09, “Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.”
