My Life

God In The Chaos (Little Update)

I have been working on some changes for my posts and realized some of them are not ready to be published like I thought. So this week I didn’t have what I wanted ready.

However, one thing I would like to share is how faithful the Lord truly is. Amidst chaos He is our peace. Lately, I have been really holding onto John 15 and James 1. Jesus is the Vine. The Father is the Vinedresser. We are the branches and those in Christ bear fruit, which we can through the Holy Spirit.

I see lately how often I fall short. How easy it is to fall into condemnation. My pride and self-seeking flesh are not traits I like admitting, but I can hand them over to Christ.

Jesus tells us to ask and He will give. James 1 tells us if we want wisdom ask and have faith. I believe that the things that give glory to God and edify the body of Christ I can have full faith Jesus will provide! Humility, patience, kindness, gentleness, love, wisdom, hope and much more!

These past few weeks, I have started to ask Him for clarity regarding wisdom and understanding on scripture. He has provided! I have asked for Him to reveal hidden sins, and my heart aches at the struggles I face spiritually with an uncomfortable awareness. I am working on taking thoughts captive and sometimes I see that I have some non-righteous judging or prideful thoughts multiple times a day.

My friend, I share this to encourage you not to rely on yourself but Jesus. Do not let negative thoughts rule your mind. Take them captive and hand them to Christ. He transforms us. He renews our mind. He forgives. And He helps us love and forgive others. Please be willing to be honest with Him and trust Him! Read the Bible and believe His word.

We aren’t enough, but Christ is everything!

Monthly Scripture – (NKJ) Psalm 85:10, “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.”

    1. We all fall short and there is so much to grow in. Sometimes I think it is overwhelming to see how much we fall short. But praise Jesus we can go to Him and we can seek forgiveness and be refined by His pruning process. May the Lord guide you 💗💗💗😊😊😊

  1. I’ve been having the same realizations lately! Sometimes what I fear is that I didn’t let the Holy Spirit guide me whenever I post and that I’m not the right person to be sharing such words. I know it’s the enemy talking. But it’s by being honest and submissive to the Lord that we overcome. Thanks for this!

    1. John 16 says the Holy Spirit’s role is to convict of sin, righteousness, and the judgment to come. The word of God, in Romans, is what increases faith. Jesus says that the word of God sanctifies. I think we have trust in God’s word that by sharing His word with others, He will help us. It is so important to pray for our blogging and as we blog, but do not feel condemned that by feelings alone you weren’t led. Trust His word, follow His word, and give Him that condemnation ❤ I relate as well!
