Recommended Christian Sermon | Do You Bear Fruit? (Paul Washer)

I want to start sharing more messages from godly pastors that can be extremely helpful, sometimes convicting, and giving glory to God.

This week I’d like to share a message from Paul Washer | Do You Bear Fruit.

From the beginning of his sermon, be ready to stay accountable. Paul calls out all of us to be honest with our life. Where is our focus? On self? On God? How much of our time is devoted to God? How much of our time is devoted to self?

This sermon focuses on John 15. Christ is the Vine. Those of the Vine bear fruit. Those who do not are cast out.

Are we bearing fruit? Are we ignoring truth? Are we turning to the One who can save us? Do we even care? What does fruit look like in our life? But more importantly, what it does mean to come to Christ even when we have struggled and sinned?

Paul goes over this and so much more. The description for this sermon is, “The reason for every trial, every hardship, every rough wind in your life, is to show you your inability, your weakness, and to chase you back to God.”

Luke 11_39-40, careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy–full of greed and wickedness. Fools! Didn’t God make the inside as well as the outside_
