I know how confusing Revelation and end time discussion can be. What I have found to be the absolute most helpful is simply looking at the of context of scripture and going from beginning to end through the books of the Bible. Also, commentaries can be really awesome additional tools.
Allen, from The Beat, holds a pre-tribulation view for the rapture. I share this because this video does carry this position as he goes over Revelation. However, even if you do not hold this view, such as myself, it does not really hinder anyone. It’s still informative and can be really helpful.
Many people already hold a pre-trib view, but I would encourage you to hear other perspectives, as well, if you haven’t on eschatology. Most views on eschatology are a secondary issue, and it can be a fascinating topic to help us dig into the word of God. This is what our goal is. But when we make our view on end times in relation to someone’s salvation, then we have problems.
Our salvation is dependent on the Lord, Jesus Christ. In fact, a proper understanding of Revelation helps us see how it is all about our Lord and Savior. It took me a long time to understand how beautiful the message of Revelation is. Despite the chaos, God judges, God keeps His word that He will avenge the Bride, those who have died for Him. Heaven glorifies the Lamb, the Church cries out to be remembered, and God remembers them. Jesus Christ is glorified. The Church is cleansed and redeemed. Wickedness is judged in full.
