Dangers Of A Distorted Gospel (John MacArthur)

The Gospel frees us from the burden of sin and the guilt that comes with it. But a false gospel will not set us free. It will put us in bondage, and keep us in bondage. People also have misunderstandings in believing they have to be under a legalistic gospel.

Pastor John MacArthur shares the danger of following after a false gospel. He discusses the misunderstandings people might have about the Gospel. Are we free to sin? As Paul would say in Romans, ”Certainly not!” The grace of God guides us to the righteousness of God, which is received through Jesus Christ, and directed by the Holy Spirit.

How does the Spirit guide us?

What is the fruit of the Spirit?

What does it mean to have freedom from the law?
