You Can Still Be Deceived, Even If All The Words Are True (Alisa Childers)

What does it mean to have itching ears? Are we gathering teachers that we want to hear, but may NOT be Biblical?

Alisa covers how it’s possible for someone to use words that sound true, but use them in a deceiving manner. She makes the point that this tactic is exactly what we see in the garden and in the temptation of Jesus. This is what the Tempter, Satan, the Deceiver of all the world does.

The Bible says that people will fall away from the truth, and they will devote themselves to teachings of demons. They will look like a Christian and talk like a Christian, but they are not a Christian. They will creep in unnoticed, relying on dreams, defile flesh, and reject authority.

Alisa breaks downs 2 main ways people can use words that sound true and Biblical, in addition to sharing what the Bible says about deceivers, tactics, and how people will try to lure others.

Alisa’s YouTube channel is dedicated to Christian Apologetics, in addition to worship, theology, and culture. She often is a speaker for discussing Progressive Christianity, and has many videos on it. In fact, she’s written a book titled, “Another Gospel?
