T. R. Noble | About Me

My goal as a writer is to encourage women to draw closer to Christ through looking at scripture and understanding that scripture is all we need in order to be equipped. The Holy Spirit will minister to all who have put their faith in the Lord, Jesus, in His death and resurrection. Please see: Why Did A Loving God Kill His Son? (Does God Hate?) & The Gospel Challenge (30 Question Quiz); Are You Ready To Defend Your Faith?

I used to be able to tell people I was “saved” at age four. But I no longer believe I can. I don’t actually know when it happened. I know before I grew in the understanding of the Gospel, the basic understanding I had, God completely used in my life. I realized the need to truly turn to Christ and that HE alone defeated sin, not us. He helped me break away from sin and truly repent.

And then the Holy Spirit directed me in God’s word. The Lord tore holes in the false doctrines I had placed my hope in and thought were safe and okay. As I explain in the posts below, I very much was into Christian mysticism for a large portion of my life. Trying to “hear” God in silence and symbols. I used my emotions, dreams, and other symbols as affirmations from God, but when it felt “quiet” and there was nothing going on, I doubted.

I know now how LOUD God is clearly speaking is His word. He is NOT quiet. He is NOT a still, small voice. No. The King of kings is roaring! He is thunderous in His commands and promises. Just read His word and you’ll see.

During this time, God gave me a sister in Christ who challenged some of my views, as well. I struggled realizing I very much had a legalistic mindset, as I came from a background of focusing on sanctification and holiness. If we do not understand the Gospel properly, then we will misunderstand everything else.

We weren’t at a church, my husband and I. But from 2017-2021, God used that time to minister through His word to us. I learned to give my husband to God and trust God and His timing. I discovered pastors online (not saying this is a substitute for church) but these pastors spoke the truth, challenged, and tore apart what I thought to be true. I found sound women ministering to other women. See: Godly Men & Women I Recommend To Listen To

The Lord helped me finally understand the Gospel in-depth. I realized the importance of not treating the Bible like a magic-8 ball. Read in order. Read and understand the context. Repeat.

My husband and I are now looking for a home church, and we might have found one. Please pray for us.

When I first started this blog in 2016, I misunderstood a lot of things and I was under certain deception. The blog is currently being edited, over half of my posts are now private. Either, they had wrong theology, or really weak messages that were fluffy and inspirational poster-like.

I hope what I have found in the word of God can be encouraging to you.

I want Inside Cup to encourage readers to learn about what happens on the inside of us, that carries real, outward, fruit. Whether good or bad. I want to dive into what we believe to be true and hold it up to scripture. I want to cover topics many Christians think are okay, things I used to think were okay, and show why it isn’t because of the truth of scripture. I want women to learn the importance of proper Bible study and learn to judge teachers, not on how they make us feel, but on what the Bible says. I want women to be equipped with the Gospel and discerning to know what is true and what is mostly true.

Testimony of how I realized I did not fully understand the Gospel as well as I thought:

Blogger 101- Understanding Your Blog And How To Blog

I will not disciple anyone (I appreciate the compliment, but I am not the right person). I have a lot to learn myself and internet connections do not allow proper discipleship. You need a church to help with proper counsel.

  1. Christian fantasy books take readers on a journey where mythical creatures and magical landscapes coexist with unwavering faith. The result is a captivating fusion that resonates not only in the fantasy realm but also in the depths of the reader’s soul.

  3. Hi, it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. Anyway, how are you? Hope you are doing well. I’m currently under the process of revamping my blog and I plan (hopefully) to talk about why I’ve not been able to be around as much. Just need a little support. It’ll be great if you can remember me in your prayers. Life’s a struggle and somehow it has managed to slow me down. Trying to get back on the horse. Hope it’s not much to ask. 🙂

  5. You were Born in 1977, I was 8 years old. I was dreaming of the plan that God had for restoring His Kingdom on Earth. There was 9 of us or maybe 11, I am the One who remembers, Because Yahweh remembers. There was a little girl in my dreams as a child, we would meet in a playground the watchers would bring me there and the girl and we would would sit and talk and go on the merry-go-round, than I would awake and wonder who she was. Your story sounds so much like mine Sensitive to the thoughts and feelings of others to a fault sometimes. Misunderstood by the world at large. I know you because you are apart of me and His chosen and we are the Travelers.

    1. I was not born in that year. I don’t know if your dream has any connection to my story or not. I believe I am a child of God and have no other connection to anyone else except through Jesus Christ. Anyone who has accepted salvation from Jesus and actively has a relationship with Him is part of His branches.

      1. Yeah, I don’t know why my comments have been going to spam, and not just one or two people but a lot of people I comment on. 😦 I’ll have to get a hold of tech because not everyone I comment reads my blog so they won’t know, and not everyone checks their spam folder.

Yeah, I wasn’t missing 🙂 still here, just having a hard time getting comments through haha.

      2. Yeah, it happens sometimes when people comment, but not usually to almost every person you comment to. That’s why it’s good to check spam. I’ve made it a daily thing just for that reason. 🙂

  7. I really liked your post when you said, “In order to grow, we must share experiences. It is not fair to not witness and not bear testimony of Jesus Christ when we are called to do so”

Sometimes, sharing experiences can be through stories, blog posts, leadership, or anything that we can use that will give testimony to God and all that He has done in our lives.

  9. Jesus used parables to represent Himself and God. The parables weren’t always for nonbelievers. This is also the direction I have with my series. There is a lot of hidden symbolism.

Also, my God and Jesus character are not named God and Jesus because, as we both stated, there is only True God and Christ. Should the characters not exist in the story, there’s no point. I want these two characters to stand out, and have it be understood what true faith is. True faith takes a real relationship with Christ. God does answer us in different ways, if we seek Him. Sometimes people need various means to be reached out to, and I believe the way I am going about this is okay. I’ve had multiple Christians read my test runs, and all have been accepting of the work.

I appreciate the concern, and I’ve been using the Bible as well for direction the story will go.

As for the representation, I’m not saying how I depict the characters is exactly how God is like, and there will be no such idea enforced. God is so much more than what a simple story can give. When I say representation, I mean a reader can look at the story, and be like, “Oh, so this is the God character, and this is the Jesus character.” But these characters do not represent the being and strong Spirit of both Christ and God.

  10. Your novels sound interesting, would you be willing/able to give a brief synopsis? I’m a writer myself and a big reader, but I mostly read non-fiction. However, perhaps Christian fiction is something it would be cool to explore 🙂

    Peace and blessings, Steven 🙏🏻

    1. At this time, no because I’m into the early stages of writing the first book. The novels were all prequels different characters to help me get to know their back-story and how I wanted them to sound written down. So everything that happened in the novels with individual characters will be gradually woven into the series when they meet each other. What I can say is I want my book series to be able to draw the reader a better picture of faith. I want my characters to have a tie to my God and Jesus characters. These things you don’t really see for Christian fiction, let alone Christian fantasy. I want to be able to tell a story based on something God gave me when I was four years old, an imaginary world I created. I wanted to expand the story and its characters and have it be something I could give back to God as a crown. It’s my hope what once gave me comfort long ago, could provide comfort and advice to someone else. 🙂

      1. T.R., after reading and praying and thinking about Christian fan tasy for many years, one thing stands out clearly, that we should never design characters that represent God and His Son. We will be presenting “another jesus.” I hope and pray that you will understand! You will only misrepresent Him. It doesn’t matter what Lewis seems to have done.

      2. I totally understand what you mean, but my character are, as you said, representations. I’m not saying this IS Jesus or this IS God. Rather, these characters represent who He is. My goal is that people consider to going to the real source and having a true relationship with Him. There is only one True God and one True Christ.
