This post is updated, sometimes daily, please check in for updates, answered prayers, and for continued prayer over the requests. Thank you!

Let’s work together on prayer by praying for each other and lifting up our needs.

Why We Need To Pray- Draw Closer To God, Draw Closer To The Community, See Answered Prayers

Here are the prayer requests/updates for the month of October

Update- Baby Finn | They discovered that Finn has had some fractures, and he has had these fractures for over a month. Lift up the parents and Finn! (Stay Up To Date– Finn’s Facebook Page) Please continue to lift up this family. Pray against stress for the parents, the father went back to work recently and the timing is hard on them. Pray for protection and healing for this little one. He has issues with his lungs and has to go through a number of surgeries. Pray for strength for Finn.

Update For Vivian’s Husband– He got a job!!! Vivian wanted everyone to know. Keep them in prayer and praise God for this! He is good!

Rosario Loss of church member– Please lift up the family of a man who recently passed. He has 8 children. Pray for the Bride to step up for the family and provide. That everyone sees God’s hand at work and that peace can be upon the shoulders of all.

Update- Olivia in Bolivia (Missionary Blogger Friend) “The Lord is abundantly blessing my time in Bolivia. Please continue to pray that I would have Heaven’s wisdom to know how to teach and how to see and point out the footsteps of Jesus as they cross every subject! Please pray for deepening of relationships and fellowship for me with the Christians around me. I’m naturally reserved, so I can struggle with what it looks like to open myself up to others. Pray that God would send the electric company to the Yoder’s home to finally give us electricity, and that rain would return to my part of Bolivia! Also, elections are this month (October 20), and they tend to be a lot less peaceful in Bolivia than in the United States… please pray for the whole country as that approaches, for the church in Bolivia to behave and respond as the church of Jesus Christ ought, and for me and those around me, that our confidence would be in Christ no matter what happens. And that God would use the results of the election to further His Kingdom in Bolivia! And for smooth travel for those who will be coming in and out of the country at that time to help out at the orphanage and visit the Yoders.”

Family I know – Request for prayer– Someone in this family is losing battle with cancer and they do not have a lot of time left. Please lift them all up.

Update Little Boy Seizure– Request for answers – He is doing better! – Received a request for prayer. A little boy has been having seizures out of nowhere, the family does not know why.

Rosario- Request for wisdom and trust – She and her husband have been having a tight year financially, and the Lord has always provided. Please lift up the family and pray for wisdom and trust to be upon her.

Efua Request for healing- She says her father is doing very well! They are continuing to pray for full healing.

My Mother In Law- Request for healing and answers- Currently she is experiencing shingles and has some on her eye. The eye is healthy but it has caused her eye to swell and she can barely see. Also, keep praying for the lump that was found. In about one month, she will be seen by the doctor. Thank you for continued prayers!– She has neuropathy. She struggles a lot. Please seek the Lord for answers and healing.

A friend’s brother–  Request for someone’s brother who has schizophrenia and he needs to be uplifted. The young man is making improvements and making choices that are helping him! Continue to lift up him and his family. It is still very hard on the family, and I’m sure him as well.

Loved By King of Kings– Request for strength – Ruth thanks everyone for continued prayers for her mother. “She has not fallen again, to my knowledge. She and my dad have moved in with my sister and her family, who could use prayer for the added stress of caregiving to their already busy lives.”

Musingsalonglifesjourney– Request For Healing & Protection“Pray with me for my brother Fritz who’s in nursing home with dementia; complete healing of mind, body and soul; removal of demons that have him bound” I also am asking for healing for the family as they go through this. Dementia is extremely hard for everyone involved. May the family feel God with them.

Little Boy “Ben” – Request for healing, protection, guidance, role models, love – This little boy needs prayer. He has a lot of scars from his past that has damaged him greatly, causing problems for him developmentally and with others. He needs male role models, like father figures especially. These people need GREAT patience and endurance. Please pray not only for “Ben” but for those who work with him. Protection that “Ben” gets the help he needs so that he does not fall through the system. Please, considering fasting when you pray for him. Again, there is a lot working against this little boy.

Vanessa– Request For Healing– She shared with me her father received news of cancer. Please lift up this family and that they are surrounded in the peace and assurance of the Lord. That the family, and especially her father, feels the Lord every single day and in everything.

Megan requests prayers for no further strokes as they have been told it’s likely there will be more. Prayers that her grandmother is able to swallow soon.

For the Lord’s conviction to be over the household.

My Request- Please pray for God’s hand in the lives of myself and my husband. That God prepares a place for my husband to have a co-op for his schooling and potentially be at a place he can work at after he graduates that is in his field. I ask for His hand on our household and finances and in my writing. Please lift up my home church as well. My pastor and the congregation. For protection, guidance, and renewal.

Remember, to pray for the lost, for the body of Christ, leaders to be strengthened, and believers to draw closer to God. We have some fellow bloggers in ministries in Italy, India, and Indonesia please remember them.

Pray for the Lord’s hand resting upon those being abused, trafficked, locked in addiction, those who feel unloved, and those suffering from illness.

Pray for the widows, the fatherless, the poor, the hungry, and pray for your own walk with Christ.

  1. Thanks for still praying for my doctor friend this far down the road. He just did my epidural on last Tuesday. It was touching to see he is still prayed for.
Praying for each one on the list. Nothing is too little, and our God certainly cares about the things that lay so heavy on each one! God loves you!

      1. He seemed to be doing well. He was pretty backed up from where he is trying to catch up on patients and procedures. He was training one of the assessment nurses in the procedures room. He is always sharing training with others.
I pray you and your husband are finding God’s blessings pouring out all over. ❤

      2. That’s so kind that he is sharing and helping others!!

We have been provided for each month. God has always taken care of us. I’ve been praying for the co-op, he still hasn’t had one yet. That this also leads into his job when he graduates and provides. Thank you, Gail!!!

      3. Absolutely! It’s been almost 2 years in waiting but even so He has provided! Every day and every month. The flesh fights against my spirit but I see His hand at work. Everything is in His will. 🙂
